"Cyber" Blog Post

My feelings towards everyone's stories are very disappointing. None of them would have died if they either planned their journey out more or not went there at all. To me, this trip was definitely not worth it for them because they all end up dead or very sick in the end. This was a crazy thing to do and I would never take a trip to Alaska alone and not know where im going. I wouldn't even take a trip a little similar to this. I would go the normal way and take a plane to where I'm going. I wouldn't ever go to Alaska either because of its below freezing temperatures. I think I would go somewhere warmer like florida, even though I've already been there. Even if I did try an into the wild trip, I woudnt last a week because I would be so lonely and so miserable that I would just want to get back home. I can't even imagine eating so little and living in a little tent. I would miss my day-to-day life so much because nothing would be the same living in the wilderness. My family, friends, or pets wouldn't be there and it would just be horrible living on a journey. I think I can conclude that I would never walk out into the wild or have anything to do with it.

Chris didn’t go on the journey, until he realized his old life was dull. Pretty much we all knew it was going to be a bad ending and there were consequences, but he thought it would be a better path for him.
• A favorite quotation of yours and why? What might Chris think about your quote? Would he “get it”?  (google inspirational quotations)
My favorite quote is "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough". I really like this quote because it motivates me to do the right things in life and to make something out of myself. I think Chris would get my quote, but i have two separate opinions on how he would take this quote. I don't think he would listen to it or like it because he kind of tried to live two lives, but I also think he would like it because he wanted to start over and live his life right and on the edge.

A place I want to visit in the U.S.

A place I would really like to visit in the U.S. would be Hawaii. My family and I have been planning to go to Hawaii for years, but never actually got to it. Hawaii is one of the most beautiful states in the U.S. and a great place to just get away, let go, and relax. I would get there by a plane, even though the ticket prices are very high, I would have no other way of getting there because it is an island.

Hawaii is known for many things. One attraction it is known for are its big volcanoes. The three active volcanoes that are highly known there are Kilauea, Mauna Loa, and Hualalai. Another big thing Hawaii is known for is that it is the only state in the U.S. made up of entirely islands. Other things Hawaii is known for is its tropical getaway and beautiful wildlife such as beautiful palm trees, flowers, amazing beaches, sunny weather, Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, and other nature.

The weather in Hawaii is absolutely incredible. It is sunny all the time and it rarely rains in this beautiful island. They get hurricanes in the season for it, but it passes by and it goes back to being sunny. If you look at the forecast for Hawaii in the winter, it is still warm and sunny vs. in Maryland where it’s snowing, icy and rainy all the time in 40 degree weather or less.

I would take a lot of things on my experience because it would be about a week trip. Obviously, I would bring clothes and everything I need for every day of the week. I would also bring a camera, my phone, my laptop, and a book so I can read while I relax on the beach. I would take back a bunch of pictures and I would also get a lot of souvenirs because even if I did go back, it would be a long time.

Hawaii is probably one of my top vacation places I would want to go to. It is a really entertaining and relaxing place to go at the same time. I am still planning on going to Hawaii sometime in my lifetime because it would be something that I could look back on.
